This story is adapted from William Faulkner's short novel, a dark but sad story. Emily has been restricted by his father since she is a girl, he does not allow her to do many things. After his father died, Emily thought she is free, and she goes to the man who she thinks they are loved, but she finds that man loves another man. After that, no one has seen Emily again, she never out of her house. When she died, the folks break into her room that finds a dead body lying on her bed.

I love this story so much. The authors' original intention is to show the conflict between the old and the new society, different class people. But I think no matter what age, the judgment and restrains to the woman are always there.

这个故事改编威廉福克纳的短篇小说，是一个黑暗但又让人悲伤的故事。艾米丽（Emily）是一个从小被父亲约束的女孩，她的父亲限制她做许多事情。当她父亲去世的时候艾米丽以为自己自由了，便去找她认为她‘心爱的男子’，但她爱的人爱的是男人。从这之后艾米丽便不再出她的房子直到她去世，好奇的人们闯进她的房间一探究竟结果却看到那个男子腐烂的尸体。

我很喜欢这个故事，虽然原著的本意是表现的是新旧社会的冲突，不同阶级人们的生活。但我认为无论我们处于什么年代，社会对于女性的约束、评判一直都存在。所有的模型都是黑白的，除了艾米丽的玫瑰花是红色，与环境形成鲜明的对比。
